Mark of the Beast…an interpretation?

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 – The greatest commandment: (sums up the first four commandments)

4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Has anyone else noticed verse 8? You shall bind these words as a sign on your HAND and they shall be as frontlets BETWEEN YOUR EYES.

It seems the Lord is speaking of the first four commandments as it is these commandments which are to do with our relationship with Yahuwah. What one does with their hands is a result of what one believes (your mind is between your eyes).

Revelation 13 shows something very similar when talking about the beast:
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right HAND or on their FOREHEADS….

So one appears to be for God’s Commandments. The other appears to be for the beasts commandment. What is the difference between these scenarios?

The Calendar one uses to show who they worship. What one believes is what one will do.

Personally I do not believe the “Mark of the beast” is here yet – and what I mean by that is that it is not being forced upon everyone. But I think we can see where it will come from and what form it will take. It all comes back to worship.

N.b. This is also mentioned in Deuteronomy 11:18 -23

18 “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20 And you shall write then on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,21 that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of heavens above the earth. 22 “For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do – to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him – 23 then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will disposes greater and mightier nations than yourselves.

Again. Its seems to be our relationship with God. It does not appear to be physical.

Now that’s not to say the Mark of the Beast is not physical, but behind it I believe there is the spiritual.
