Many recognise the difference in the calendars when they view the Feasts. Passover, the Feast of unleavened bread, The Feast of First Fruits, The Feast of Weeks also called Pentecost, The Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles.
Many recognise that these events take place upon the calendar of scripture and not upon the gregorian calendar.
But another group feels that the first Feast, the Sabbath, runs upon a different calendar, a calendar not found in the scriptures. Those who believe this need to answer this question as in it truth shall be revealed.
If the people in scripture were using the scriptural calendar for all but the Sabbath, then they were also using the sun moon and stars to determine when these appointed times were. The moon determined where the month began (Psalm 104:19 – He made the moon for the appointed times, the sun knows its going down) and as such where the days began.
Today, the Gregorian calendar uses no such marker. It uses a man made date line. It threw aside the calendar from creation and uses a man made calendar.
So if the way in which we determine where a day begins is different, how can the Sabbath day be upon a gregorian day?
Have you ever noticed how the scriptural calendar never lines up upon the Gregorian calendar? – Even how different locations around the world seem to have these events upon different Gregorian days??
The Sabbath needs to use the correct date line to be determined. Using a man made one will never line up with scripture. Using the Sun, moon and stars one can determine His appointed times.
Do you see? Can you discern the signs He provided us with?
Look where the month began in scripture. It was not upon the Gregorian date line each month. New Moon day was determines by the new Moon. It was the first day of the month. The next day was the second day, then third….etc.
The day count started with the new Moon. All Sabbath events were determined from the New moon, for scripture does not say that one sabbath will be upon one day and another upon the next day of the month depending upon where you live and what calendar you are using.
The truth is staring you in the face. For some they do not want to know the truth. They are happy to go along with what man teaches.
Listen to the scriptures, for in them the truth shall be found.
2 Timothy 4:1-7
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of YHWH, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Timothy 4:1-5
1 I charge you therefore before YHWH and the Yahushua HaMaschiah, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
