The Calendar

If we pay attention as he teaches us, you will see the most amazing things.

The Calendar:

For some time now I have wondered why when we look at “time” spoken about in Revelation 12. it equals an neat 360 days.

The verse in question (and there are others) says:

Revelation 12
14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle,so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.

So time (360) plus times (360 x 2 = 720) plus half a time (360/2 = 180) = 1260 days.

Which is the same spoke about elsewhere in scripture. e.g. Revelation 12
6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by YHWH, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

Well now i believe I understand and I wanted to share it. You’ve all probably heard people say “its the average number of days in biblical year” before. But is it? Let’s prove the point that the year in scripture is Luni-Solar.

The lunar year is 354.37 days long. The solar year is 365.24 day long. To work out the average of these years one would take the lunar year and add it to the solar year then divide it by two.

354.37 lunar days + 365.24 solar days = 719.61 or 720 lunar-solar days.
720 days / 2 = 360 days luni-solar days.

But why have I gone to all this trouble to show you this? Because of the units which the answer provides. Yes. That is correct. The units are luni-solar days.

So next time you hear someone tell you that YHWH’s times are purely solar or that YHWH times are purely lunar, show them this. They are luni-solar. Which fits His appointed times and His calendar exactly.
