16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
So what is meant by what Paul said:
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Did Paul have the authority to change things or do away with things? No. And that was not what he was teaching then.
1 John 2
4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
But Revelation 14:12 Tells us that there will be those who keep the commandments of Yahuhah:
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Yauhuah, and the faith of Yahushuah.
….. For I, Yahuwah thy Elohim, am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
14 Blessed are those who do His commandments,[g] that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
8 Yahushua HaMashiach is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
16 I am Yahuwah. I do not change….
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
One cannot make it more perfect or more complete by adding to, taking away, or changing the Law.
Well should we still be sacrificing animals then?
Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”
1 Corinthians 4
6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.
