# The Metonic Cycle

​​In order to identify where we are in the pattern, we simply determined the beginning of each year and then noted how many months that meant each year would have.  We first determined the first New Moon Day of the year (Column 4: “New Moon Day”).  Once we had done this for every year, we went back and counted how many months each year would then have (Column 5: “# of Months”).  For example: If the year began on April 4, 2011, and following year began on March 23, 2012, then that Biblical year would have 12 months – since there are 12 lunations between those dates.  After the number of months had been determined (Column 5: “# of Months”), we simply looked for the Metonic pattern (1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19). 🙂  It is most remarkable to see how the pattern presents itself.  Hope this helps. 🙂  If it is still not clear, let me know…. and we’ll keep at it until we get there.  Onward and upward, brother.  Much love to you and yours.

# As a child we learn

I heard a someone else say this today. It was a remark which I am not sure they realise how much truth is hidden within.

They said ” As a child we learn what our parents and teachers teach us. We accept what they tell us as the truth. If we were to teach a person from when they were a child until they went to school, that what we know is a square, is called a circle or what we know as 1 + 1 = 2 actually equals three, the young child would accept it.

Then as they grow older they would be presented with information which is different to what they have been taught. Without question the person would initially reject the new light presented to them, arguing fighting and telling others that there is not light in the truth presented to them.

Now imagine this has happened on a much larger scale. With a whole nation for example. They have been told that YHWH name is G_D. They have been told that the Jews know all there is to know about G_D. And they have been told that the calendar He uses has a repeating seven day cycle.

The truth is very likely to be rejected. But in the few who are seeking the truth, the light will be accepted. Initially it will be but a small part. Then more and more, until YHWH’s word starts to shine as it should.

Its funny. I spoke to a Jew the other day. He told me that they had to change the Sabbath day due to the persecution from Rome. But others don’t seem to know this fact….

Friends. Family. Loved ones. I came across this quote tonight. It is worth while reading.

Satan is an ever vigilant foe. With every ray of revealed light, he has sought to bring in confusion, error, pride of belief and even forgetfulness. Many important truths have been lost and hidden over millennia of accepted errors, assumptions and traditions. Truth itself, however, cannot be destroyed. There are many, many gems of truth sacred amongst the rubbish of error. The seeker for truth must be both humble and diligent in his search from these scattered jewels.

When a person has been raised believing error, the search for truth can be very confusing. Truth, no matter how pure, can feel wrong emotionally, when it contradicts a person’s core beliefs. Yahuwah has left none to struggle alone. He has provided in His Word a standard by which anyone can discern what is truth and what is error. This rule is to use the combined weight of evidence.

Isaiah 28 contains a lengthy warning against false doctrines stubbornly clung to by those who do not use the weight of evidence as their rule in interpreting Scripture.

“Woe to the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephrayim, and to the fading flower of its splendid comeliness that is on the head of the fertile valley, to those who are overcome with wine!”

Spiritual pride is one of the most insidious of sins. It is extremely difficult to get anyone who is spiritually proud to study with an open mind. In scripture, intoxicating wine is repeatedly used as a symbol of false doctrine. Thus, this passage is a warning to all who would cling to error, taking pride in their wrong beliefs.

Isaiah 28:7
And these too have gone astray through wine, and through strong drink wandered about. Kohen (The priest) and nabi (the prophet) have gone astray through strong drink, they are swallowed up by wine, they wander about through strong drink, they go astray in vision, they stumble in right ruling.
8 For all tables shall be covered in vomit, no place without filth.
9 Whom shall He teach the knowledge? And whom would He make understand the message? Those weaned from mik, those taken from the breasts!
10 For it is command upon command, line upon line, here a little, there a little.
11 For with a jabbering lip and a foreign tongue He speaks to this people. 12 to who,e He said ” This is the rest to the weary” and ” This is the refreshing” BUT THHEY WOULD NOT HEAR.

“In the mouths of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.” This was the standard established by Yahuwah Himself in matters of civil dispute:

One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. (Deuteronomy 19:15)

At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death. (Deuteronomy 17:6)

Whosoever killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses; but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. (Numbers 35:30)

Have you ever seen one line of scripture which says Saturday is the Sabbath?

Have you ever seen one line of scripture which says the weeks are continuous?

Have you ever seen New Moon day in scripture and wondered how it fits into His calendar (not mans).

The evidence is there. If just three witnesses are not enough for you, I present to you twelve.

# The Churches of today – by Thamsanxa Gospie Mathe

Question: Has the Bible prophesied that all recognized churches will apostatize before the Second Coming of Yahushua?

Answer: Yes, Isaiah 4:1 depicts the condition of the all recognized churches today:

“and in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.” (Isaiah 4:1)

This prophecy tells us that at the end of time “seven” (7 symbolically means “all”, “totality”, “complete”, i.e. 7 days of creation, 7 last plagues, 7 years of famine, etc.) or ALL, “women” (or churches – churches [ekklesia] are often symbolized as women in the Bible, i.e. Rev.12:1 vs. Rev. 17:3, etc) shall take hold of one man (they will claim to have a relationship with Yahushua – which ALL the “churches” profess today) saying, We will eat our own bread (They reject the true Bread of life – Yahushua and His teachings, see John 6:51, and prefer rather to “eat” their own false doctrines and traditions – see Isaiah 8:20), and wear our own apparel (they also reject the pure, white robe of Yahushua’s righteousness and prefer their own system of works and self-righteousness – see Isaiah 61:10; Rev. 3:4, 5, 18) but they say: only let us be called by Thy name (despite of their rebellion, they want to be recognized, why?) to take away our reproach. They don’t want their shame and disgrace to be seen due to the fact that they are teaching falsehood and are not part of Yahushua’s ekklesia, but in reality they are one of the shameful, harlot daughters of Babylon!

Since, today all the churches are feeding their members a mixture of truth and error which removes Yahuwah from their midst, He has commanded us that whenever truth is mixed with error to “come out of her My people” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

# Three days and three nights.

The three days and three nights tends to be thought of by many as the time Yahushua spent in the tomb. But the scriptures tell us that he would raise from the dead upon the third day, so the third night could never be. Yahushua often spoke in parables to teach others. For example:

Many times people did not get the meaning.
And those who thought they did, the little they knew was taken away from them.

So of this interpretation does not fit, another needs to be sought. What is “the heart of the earth?”. It is a metaphor meaning something else. In this case it means Jerusalem, as Jerusalem was considered to be “the heart of the earth”.

So how does the three days and three nights fit in then?
We start upon the 9th day, six days before the Passover with Yahushua having supper with Martha, Lazarus, Mary and Judas.

The next day was the 10th day. Some tend to think this is the fourteenth day because scripture talks about the passover,
but as we see later, the passover was not for another five days. It was the day Yahushuah arrived.

The word meaning “Feast” in greek is heorte. It is in neither of these translations above.
You see, these days were not the feast days themselves but a time of preparation for the feasts.
This day was the 10th day of Abib
.
The day in which the passover lambs were selected for slaughter on the 14th day at evening as scripture tells us:

Yahushua then sent Peter and John to the upper room to prepare. He knew he was not going to be eating this passover meal with his disciples as the Passover lamb was to be slaughtered in the 14th at even.
Yahushua had his last meal with the disciples on the evening of the 10th of Abib.

We also see the same thing occurring in John 13 which is a continuation of John 12:12 above.

After the last supper Yahushua goes to the garden of Gethsemane.

Sometime between midnight and the next dawn He was arrested at the mount of Olives and was taken to the house of the High Priest where He is examined (the same way the passover lamb was examined by the High Priest).
This started the 11th day. Yahushua is now in the belly of the whale – the heart of the earth – being persecuted.
This is the first day in the prophecy spoken of in Matthew 12:40.

The next day starts in Matthew 27:1 which is the 12th day and continues to the 13th day.
These events take place upon the second and third day of the prophecy spoken of in Matthew 12:40.
It concludes with the third night (upon the 13th) and the end of the prophecy is complete.

So he was then sent to Herod who questioned Him with many words.

The prophecy has ended here with the three days and three nights in the belly of the whale.
The fate of Yahushua was now sealed.
Upon the 14th day he was sent to be crucified and die for us.
The innocent lamb to the slaughter as was spoken about in Exodus.

He  was crucified upon the 14th day.

That afternoon upon the 14th of Abib at even, He died upon the cross.

The 14th was Passover. It was also the preparation day for the Sabbath.
It was a great day as it started the feast of Unleavened bread and also was the first Sabbath where we could rejoice as Yahushua had paid for our sins.

The Sabbath was the last day of the week. This was the 15th.
The next day after the Sabbath was the first day of the six work days. It was the day when Yahushuah rose. It was the 16th.

The 16th day of the first month is known as “First fruits”. The reason becomes apparent when one looks in scripture. Leviticus 23 tells us First fruits is the day after the Sabbath. The Sabbath is upon the 15th. First fruits therefore upon the 16th.

But does the 16th line up with other areas in scripture as well?
When Joshua led the Israelites into Canaan they kept the passover upon the 14th.
The 15th they started the feast of Unleavened Bread (which starts the Sabbath – Leviticus 23:11) and
the next day they ate the fruits of the land which was the 16th.

# The Sabbath

Scripture says:

Matthew 12:8
For the Son of man is the Messiah even of the Sabbath day.

Exodus 31:16
Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

If some say the Sabbath is no longer, they are going against what scripture teaches. For if the Sabbath is no longer, Yahushua is no longer the Messiah of the Sabbath and the covenant was not a perpetual covenant.

He is calling. Are you listening?

### Walking in the Rauch

16 I say then: Walk in the Rauch and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Rauch, and the Rauch against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Rauch, you are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of YHWH.

22 But the fruit of the Rauch is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Yahushua’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Rauch, let us also walk in the Rauch. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
